A world of wisdom
This week I've spent some time getting ready for my new class. We had homework last week. Currently we are making a necklace which we will be finishing this week. Part of the homework was to make tons of headpins, mostly the wrapped ones. Every time I make one, I think why is isn't the loop nice and round like the ones you get in the store? What am I doing wrong? The tools! I was using chain nose pliers. Well, you can. But they aren't going to make those lovely round loops. What should I have been using? Round nose pliers. Ahh, the word round in it should have tipped me off. My teacher did mention which tool to use, but I must have gotten a little lazy along the way. Never again! It's like my dad always said, "It'll be easier if you use the right tool for the job." Genius. It's true that sometimes you have to improvise, but if you use the tool designed for the job, your world will be a whole lot smoother.
