If your a knitter, have you tried...?

Many knitters have somehow managed to get through life without learning about Ravelry.  It's only the best place for knitters, those who crochet and spinners.  It's free to sign up, and has thousands of patterns.  Many are free, and some you pay for.  You can narrow your search down by what size needle or hook you use, your subject, (hat, legwarmers, etc), yarn, free or purchased, and the list goes on and on.  It has groups you can join (or not) and many are connected to podcasts and stores they may have.

I love Ravery.  I keep notes on all my projects as well as pictures.  Also, I have projects lined up on my queue.  I'm never without a project, and if I'm out of yarn, I can buy that as well.

Today was special for me.  This was the first time I posted a pattern of my own on Ravelry.  I'm so proud of it.  Sure you could get a pattern for a hat, scarf, slippers, but what about leg warmers?  That's my pattern:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hot-grape-leg-warmers.  I was asked to make a pair for a family member, who just wants to slip something over her legs.  I took the challenge and designed my own.  Honestly, I couldn't get over how quickly they knit up.  They are great for anyone, women of any age, teens, girls, and who could forget dancers?

So, slip on over to Ravelry.  Follow my link, sign up as a member, and pick up my pattern today.  I know your going to love it!
