I'm in a mood this week. We are about to start renovations at the house, and my world is starting to feel like an episode of Hoarders. Honestly, I'm at the point where I just want to throw everything out. Too many art supplies, clothes I'm no longer interested in, and a daunting pile of yarn. and the books, I didn't even mention the books did I? Sigh. Too much stuff. Sadly, I can't get rid of the art supplies. They are my life and always will be. But the clothes, I would like a dumpster for. It just seems time to start over. Florida just seems to be sapping the life from me. I've lost my love of clothes due to the Florida weather. When your hot all the time, who wants to wear anything at all?
This week however, the weather is finally decent here, but knowing this place...it won't stay this way for long. Nights in the 40's. So pleasant, but still...no snow. :( I see the snow up the coast, and I long to be there. Bundled in thick socks, cuzzy sweaters, cute little hats. Snow men, snowball fights, oh, I miss those days.
Anyway on to a positive note, Interweave sent me a couple of books to review. Just beautiful. One on bead-work and one on knitting. A couple of my favorite loves. So I will be reviewing them for you later this week. I know, the week is half over. But now you have something to look forward to.
